Paris Haute Couture show to go digital for SS 2020
This year’s all fashion show’s were on hold, and now we wonder based on the level of uncertainty of what we all expect to see in this year’s Couture Fashion.
As we all know that due to the present pandemic this year’s fashion show will go digital this July, translating the fashions craftsmanship of couture into a virtual format for the first time would be seen this July.
According to Vogue magazine, the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode will host videos from accredited couture Maisons on a dedicated platform. Each fashion designer house will be represented in the form of a creative video replacing the physical fashion week for all designers that are listed to per take this year.
Although it’s not yet confirmed for all to know which designers would be showcasing in the new digital concept, but a few designers have already opted out of this year’s Haute fashion show
Jean-Paul Gaultier announced that his couture show would be postponed until January likewise that of the Italian designer Giorgio Armani for his Armani Privé collection, while Balenciaga, which was to debut its first couture collection this year also postponed.
Paris Haute couture Fashion show 2020 would commence in the first week of July and run through the second week.
