Elisabeth Shue at last repeated her Karate Kid part of Ali Mills on season 3 of the continuation arrangement to the ’80s establishment, which debuted on Netflix on New Year’s Day. Spoiler alert: Following the last season’s cliffhanger, her character answers her previous love interest Johnny Lawrence’s (William Zabka) Facebook message, and the two rejoin and later visit an old frequent, where they normally run into the third corner of their past affection triangle and his momentum irresolute rival, Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio). Shue, 57, conversed with Entertainment Weekly about rejoining with her co-stars onscreen following 35 years.

“One thing that was simply so amazing was to understand that Billy and I, in the first Karate Kid, we never at any point addressed each other but to punch one another, to toss a radio into the sand,” she said. “We never had the opportunity to have a [normal] scene. So I cherished getting a chance to do that.

In [Cobra Kai], we talked and conveyed and acted together, and I cherished that. So that was truly astounding and magnificent to nearly begin another relationship truly.”
